Firemen
demonstrating the sturdiness of their hat
What a wonderful,
exciting day at Little Harvard Academy! On July 3, 2015 at exactly 9:30 in the
morning, Little Harvard Academy held its first FIRE SAFETY DAY. The students
started the day by making their fire hat. A group of firefighters from Quezon
City Firefighters Volunteer Association came to visit and taught us things to
do in case of fire. They were able to show us the clothes they wear and the
gears they use when they attend to emergencies including fires, road accidents,
flood and of course when they rescue people who need their help.

The kids enjoyed
taking pictures while holding the big hose assisted by the fire fighters. They
also had a chance to ride the fire truck. The kids were able to watch videos
about safety tips in case of fire.
